This set of practise tests for the Hawaii DMV include questions based on the most important traffic signs and legislation from the Hawaii Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.

Each question on the practise exam has a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as information from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official DMV test.

You must properly answer 24 of the 30 questions to receive a passing mark. To help you prepare for your Hawaii instruction permit or driver's licence, take our DMV practise test.

The DMV exam is offered in a variety of languages.

Using any form of testing help will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take further action against your driver's licence, so avoid it.

20 . You are involved in an accident and another person is injured. You should:

Stay away from the injured. After an accident, do not move the injured unnecessarily. Unskilled handling can make serious injuries out of minor ones. Keep the injured warm until skilled help arrives. If there is severe bleeding, attempt to stop the flow of blood with direct pressure.

This sign tells you that:
The road may be slippery when wet. This sign warns of an upcoming winding road with three or more curves.

22 . If you leave your vehicle unattended, you must:

All of the above. When you leave your vehicle unattended, you must stop the engine, lock the ignition, remove the key from the ignition, and set the parking brake.

23 . You are driving forward out of your driveway. You:

Can cross the sidewalk area without stopping if you first honk your horn. When driving forward out of a driveway, always stop before entering the road. The stop should be made before crossing the sidewalk area. Failure to stop is unlawful.

24 . You experience an incident at work that has left you feeling angry. When you get to your car, you should:

Stop at your favorite bar and have a few drinks before driving home. Persons who are upset, angry, or otherwise distracted by their emotions should take time to cool off before driving a car. Taking out frustrations or anger while driving is exercising very poor judgment and is very dangerous to both the driver and others on the road.
