This set of DMV practise tests for the Florida include questions based on the most important traffic signs and laws from the Florida Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.

Each question on the practise exam has a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as information from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official DMV test.

You must properly answer 40 of the 50 questions to receive the required passing mark. To help you prepare for your Florida instruction permit or driver's licence, take our DMV practise test.

The DMV exam is offered in a variety of languages.

Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.

A driver may turn in the direction that the red arrow is pointing. Unless a posted sign indicates otherwise, a traffic signal displaying a red arrow means that drivers must come to a full stop and remain stopped until a green light or green arrow appears.

16 . When approaching a school bus stopped with its stop arm extended, drivers should:

Pass the bus before its door opens. When approaching a stopped school bus that is using its stop signal, a driver is required to come to a complete stop. They should not proceed until the stop arm is withdrawn.

17 . When approaching a traffic signal displaying a steady yellow arrow, drivers:

Have the right-of-way and may expect oncoming traffic to stop for them. A steady yellow arrow indicates that a red arrow is about to appear. Stop unless you are already within the intersection.

18 . A diamond-shaped sign is a:

Speed limit sign. Warning signs are normally diamond-shaped and yellow, although orange warning signs are used in work areas. Such signs warn that you are approaching a hazardous location or an area where special rules apply.

19 . When driving in rain, you must:

Use no lights. In rainy conditions, you should use your low beam headlights.

20 . If a traffic light is out-of-order, drivers should:

Assume they have the right-of-way. If a traffic light is out-of-order, drivers should treat the intersection as a four-way stop. The driver who arrives at the intersection first has the right-of-way.

21 . This sign means:

This sign means:
Highway curves ahead. This sign indicates that there is merging traffic entering from the right.
