This DMV practise tests for Colorado include questions based on the most important traffic signs and limitations from the Colorado Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.

Each practise test question provides a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about road rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as information from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official DMV test.

You must properly answer 20 out of 25 questions to receive the requisite passing grade. To help you prepare for your Colorado instruction permit or driver's licence, take our DMV practise test.

The DMV exam is accessible in a variety of languages.

Using a testing aid of any kind will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so don't do it.

4 . Roads freeze quickly when they are:

Shaded. In cold or wet weather, you should take special care on sections of road that are shaded by trees or buildings. These areas freeze more quickly than the rest of the road and are the last parts of the road to dry.

5 . What should you be most concerned about when you see this sign?

What should you be most concerned about when you see this sign?
Losing control of the vehicle if you drift onto the shoulder. This sign indicates that the shoulder is lower than the road in the area ahead. If you drift off of the roadway and one wheel drops onto a low shoulder, do not slam on the brakes or steer sharply to try to get back onto the roadway. This could easily cause you to lose control of your vehicle.

6 . What color are pavement markings that separate traffic lanes moving in opposite direction?

Yellow, white, and black Yellow lines are used in the center of the road to separate lanes of traffic moving in opposite directions.
