This set of practise tests for the Hawaii DMV include questions based on the most important traffic signs and legislation from the Hawaii Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.

Each question on the practise exam has a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as information from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official DMV test.

You must properly answer 24 of the 30 questions to receive a passing mark. To help you prepare for your Hawaii instruction permit or driver's licence, take our DMV practise test.

The DMV exam is offered in a variety of languages.

Using any form of testing help will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take further action against your driver's licence, so avoid it.

Pass slower traffic in the exit ramp. When using a freeway exit ramp, do not slow down until you move onto the exit ramp.

Neither lane. You should always turn from the lane that is closest to the direction you want to go. Turn into the lane closest to your previous lane.

Release the steering wheel. If your vehicle begins to skid, remain calm. Steer in the direction that you want to go and try not to overcorrect.

29 . If a vehicle using high beams comes toward you, you should look toward ____ of the road.

The left side If a vehicle approaching you is using its high beams and fails to dim them, you should glance toward the right side of the road. This will keep you from being blinded by the other vehicle’s headlights and will allow you to see well enough to stay on your course until the vehicle passes.

30 . If you are involved in a serious motor vehicle crash:

All of the above. If you are involved in a crash, move your vehicle off of the road and stop, if possible. If anyone is injured, call 911 and provide appropriate help. You must report the crash to law enforcement if there is an injury, a death, and/or more than $1,000 in property damage (or more than $200 worth of damage made to non-vehicle government property, such as signs or guardrails).
