This set of DMV practise tests for the Florida include questions based on the most important traffic signs and laws from the Florida Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.

Each question on the practise exam has a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as information from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official DMV test.

You must properly answer 40 of the 50 questions to receive the required passing mark. To help you prepare for your Florida instruction permit or driver's licence, take our DMV practise test.

The DMV exam is offered in a variety of languages.

Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.

Two-way traffic. Warning signs prepare drivers for upcoming road conditions and hazards and are usually yellow and black. This sign tells drivers that a lane is ending and that they should prepare to allow traffic to merge safely.

37 . You are turning onto a two-lane road divided by a broken yellow line. You know immediately that:

You must stay to the left of the broken yellow lines. Yellow centerlines are used to separate traffic moving in opposite directions. Broken lines may be crossed to pass slower-moving traffic when it is safe to do so.

This sign means:
Yield. Regulation signs regulate traffic speed and movement, displaying rules which drivers must obey. This regulation sign indicates that parking is not permitted.

39 . You may drive in HOV lanes if:

You are trying to get somewhere quickly. Some highways reserve the left lane for vehicles with two or more occupants or hybrid/low-emission vehicles. These High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes are identifiable by signs and diamond pavement symbols and are separated from other lanes by a striped buffer zone. Vehicles may enter and exit the HOV lane only at designated points.

40 . This road sign means:

This road sign means:
Wildlife preserve. This sign warns that deer cross the roadway in the area. You should slow down, be alert, and be ready to stop.

41 . Taking drugs along with alcohol:

Has no effect on your general driving ability. Drugs (including illegal, prescription, and over-the-counter medications) can affect your brain function and impair your ability to drive safely. Combining alcohol with other drugs will increase the risk of a crash.

42 . You are coming to an intersection with a flashing yellow light. You should:

Prepare to stop; the light is about to turn red. A flashing yellow light means that you should proceed through the intersection slowly and with caution. Scan your eyes across traffic in both directions.
