This set of DMV practise tests for the Florida include questions based on the most important traffic signs and laws from the Florida Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.

Each question on the practise exam has a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as information from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official DMV test.

You must properly answer 40 of the 50 questions to receive the required passing mark. To help you prepare for your Florida instruction permit or driver's licence, take our DMV practise test.

The DMV exam is offered in a variety of languages.

Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.

Do you currently have car insurance?

Before you start the test, please answer the following question regarding your insurance status.

Without insurance you will not be able to drive in Florida

36 . Don’t follow other cars too closely because:

You may not see the other vehicle’s brake lights. If you follow too closely and the vehicle in front of you slows or stops suddenly, you may not have enough time to avoid a collision.

37 . Smoking and preparing to smoke while driving:

Are not distracting activities. Smoking while driving can create dangerous distractions by causing you to take your hands off the wheel and/or your eyes off the road.

38 . This road sign means:

This road sign means:
Low clearance. This sign indicates that the overpass ahead has a low clearance. You should not proceed if your vehicle is taller than the height shown on the sign (in this case, 13 feet 6 inches).

39 . When you see a "Drawbridge" sign and you see a flashing yellow light, you should:

Stop only if you see a boat. When a yellow light is flashing near a drawbridge, the drawbridge is in operation. Slow down and prepare to stop.

40 . If you are driving and are 21 years old or older, you are considered to be driving under the influence when your blood alcohol concentration (BAC) is a minimum of:

0.08 percent. A driver with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of 0.08 percent or higher is driving under the influence. Conviction of driving under the influence may result in a fine, imprisonment, or both.

41 . To avoid being in a truck or bus driver’s blind spot, you should:

Sound your horn. Because a large vehicle, such as a truck or bus, has large blind spots to its sides and rear, avoid driving alongside such a vehicle and do not tailgate one.

42 . Unless otherwise posted, the speed limit is ____ on limited-access highways.

30 mph Unless otherwise posted, the speed limit on limited-access highways is 70 mph. If a posted sign indicates otherwise, follow the speed limit on the posted sign.
