This set of DMV practise tests for the Florida include questions based on the most important traffic signs and laws from the Florida Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.

Each question on the practise exam has a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as information from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official DMV test.

You must properly answer 40 of the 50 questions to receive the required passing mark. To help you prepare for your Florida instruction permit or driver's licence, take our DMV practise test.

The DMV exam is offered in a variety of languages.

Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.

8 . This sign means:

This sign means:
Farm machinery. Eight-sided traffic signs warn drivers that they must stop and yield the appropriate right-of-way at an intersection. Drivers may proceed when it is safe to do so.

9 . Do not pass:

All of the above. You should never pass if there is an oncoming vehicle in the passing lane, if your view is blocked by a curve or hill, at an intersection, before or on a railroad crossing or bridge, or in any other no passing zone. Unless you are on the opposite side of a multilane roadway with a median or shared center turn lane, you may not pass a stopped school bus that has its flashing red lights activated.

10 . If an officer is directing traffic at a working traffic light, drivers should:

Check to see what the cars next to them are doing. Traffic signals are placed at intersections to keep traffic moving and to help prevent crashes. Drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists must obey these signals, except in instances when an officer is directing traffic.

11 . The risk of hydroplaning can can be reduced by driving:

Through deep water. Because hydroplaning is caused by driving too quickly in wet conditions, the risk of it happening can be reduced by driving more slowly.

12 . The most effective safety restraints in a traffic crash are:

No safety restraints. Safety belts can double your chance of surviving a crash and more than double your chance of avoiding serious injury. Airbags, when used properly with safety belts, provide additional protection in a front-end crash. You should wear both shoulder and lap belts.

13 . A driver who has been convicted of three traffic offenses that caused accidents over the course of three years:

May not leave the state. The Three Crashes in Three Years Law requires drivers who have been convicted of three traffic incidents that have caused accidents over the course of 36 months to enroll in and complete an approved driver improvement course. The driver must also complete behind-the-wheel training from a commercial driving school and pass an extended driving test. The requirements must be met within 90 days or the driver's license will be canceled.

14 . This sign means:

This sign means:
No trucks allowed. This sign warns that there is a steep hill ahead.
