This set of DMV practise tests for Delaware comprise of questions based on the most important traffic signs and rules from the Delaware Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.

Each question on the practise exam has a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about road laws, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as information from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official DMV test.

You must properly answer 20 of the 25 questions to receive the required passing mark. To help you prepare for your Delaware instruction permit or driver's licence, take our DMV practise test.

The DMV exam is offered in a variety of languages.

Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.

This yellow warning sign means:
This sign is placed on roads near schools to warn drivers to slow down, drive with caution, and watch for children.

10 . You are involved in an accident that causes an injury. You must report the accident:

If any person is injured or killed in a traffic accident, the police must be immediately notified. It is a crime for you to leave the scene of such an accident before the police have talked to you and gotten all the information they need.

11 . This sign means:

This sign means:
This sign warns that two lanes of traffic going the same direction will soon merge into one lane.

12 . While driving on a roadway with a single broken white centerline:

White lines between lanes indicate that the lanes are traveling in the same direction. Broken white line markings indicate that it is legal to pass another vehicle when safe.

13 . Which of the following road surfaces freezes first?

Pavement on bridges and overpasses can become icy even when other surrounding pavement is dry. Bridges often freeze before, and thaw out after, the rest of a road.

14 . When you are behind a motorcycle, you should:

When following a motorcyclist, allow for at least a three- to four-second following distance. Motorcycles can stop quickly and following them too closely endangers your life and that of the motorcyclist. If the motorcyclist should fall, you need extra distance to avoid the rider. The chances of a fall are greatest on wet and icy roads, gravel roads, and metal surfaces such as bridges, gratings, and streetcar or railroad tracks.

15 . Streets and highways are most slippery:

Driving during the first half hour of rainfall is dangerous because roadways become extremely slippery when the water mixes with oil and other chemicals on the road surfaces that have not yet washed away. Use extra caution when driving on slippery roads.

16 . When driving in fog, it is best to drive with:

Use your low beam headlights when driving in fog, rain, or snow. High beam lights can reflect off the weather conditions, lowering visibility even more.
