FREE Tennessee DMV Practice Test #13
The Tennessee DMV practise exams for January 2024 have been updated. It includes questions based on the most important traffic signals and laws for 2024 from the Tennessee Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
Each question on the practise exam has a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as knowledge from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official Tennessee DMV test.
You must properly answer 24 of the 30 questions to receive a passing mark. Use the Tennessee Department of Motor Vehicles' practise exam to help you prepare for your instruction permit or driver's licence.
The DMV exam is offered in a variety of languages.
Using any form of testing help will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take further action against your driver's licence, so avoid it.

Your suspension helps you control your vehicle and provides a comfortable ride over varying road surfaces. If your vehicle bounces a lot after driving over a bump, or is generally hard to control, you may need new suspension parts.

For example, drinking three drinks in one hour affect a person more acutely than drinking the same three drinks over the course of three hours. As a person's weight increases, the amount of alcohol required to raise their blood alcohol content (BAC) increases. When comparing two people of the same weight, the person with more body fat will show signs of intoxication first, since their body contains proportionally less water in which to dissolve the alcohol.

If you approach a stopped school bus that has its lights flashing and arm extended, you must come to a full stop and remain stopped until the signal arm is pulled back and the bus resumes motion. This law applies whether you are traveling in the same direction as the bus or if you are approaching from the opposite side of the street.

You should always slow down before entering a curve. You may not be able to see hazards ahead and braking in a curve may cause your vehicle to skid.

Bicycles do not have turn signals so bicyclists use hand and arm signals to alert other drivers to their intentions. If a bicyclist puts their left arm straight out, they are signaling that they intend to turn left.

A red arrow means "stop." You must remain stopped until a green light or green arrow appears. Do not turn against a red arrow.
8 . If you have an argument with another person and you are angry, you should:
Your emotions affect your ability to drive safely. If you are overly angry, excited, afraid, worried, or depressed, you should give yourself time to calm down before operating a vehicle. You need to be able to mentally focus on driving without thinking about the things that made you upset.
