2 . A charter bus endorsement allows:

A driver to transport a passenger of any age. In Illinois, a charter bus endorsement is required to operate a bus that is chartered by a school for the sole purpose of transporting students in grades 12 and under to or from school-sponsored activities. This endorsement is not required if the driver already has both passenger and school bus endorsements.

This is known as the standee line.

6 . After a train has passed, you should:

Slowly creep across the tracks. After a train has passed in front of your bus, you should check the tracks for another train coming from either direction before you proceed. A second train could be approaching on a second set of tracks at the same crossing.

7 . An applicant must be at least ____ to obtain a charter bus endorsement.

25 years old You must be at least 21 years old to obtain a charter bus endorsement. This endorsement allows you to operate a bus that is chartered for school use.
