If you pass a school bus that is stopped to drop off or pick up children, you will:

Drivers must come to a complete stop when approaching a school bus that is stopped with its lights flashing. Failure to stop until the lights stop flashing will result in a fine of at least $165. Passing a bus on the side where its door is located will result in a fine of at least $265. Additional penalties will apply.
