FREE Wyoming DMV Practical Test Page 4 of 7
The Wyoming DMV practise examinations include questions based on the Wyoming Driver Handbook's most significant traffic signals and legislation. Use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam to study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
On the practise exam, each question gets a tip and explanation to help you remember the concepts. The written component of the official Wyoming DMV test will include questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as knowledge from the Driver Handbook.
To obtain a passing grade, you must correctly answer 40 of the 50 questions. Use the practise exam provided by the Wyoming Department of Motor Vehicles to help you prepare for your instruction permit or driver's licence.
The DMV exam is available in several languages.
Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.
22 . This sign means:
This sign indicates that you may not make a U-turn. You cannot turn around to go in the opposite direction at an intersection where this sign is posted.
23 . This road sign means:
Warning signs are usually yellow with black markings. This sign warns drivers that the upcoming road will curve right, followed by a curve to the left. Drivers should adjust their speed to safely continue on the road.
24 . Various traffic control devices in construction and maintenance work areas are the color:
Orange warning signs are used in and around work zones. Use special caution when you see orange signs, cones, or barriers on a roadway.
25 . When driving under snowy or icy conditions:
When driving under snowy or icy conditions, you should make speed and directional changes gradually. Never use cruise control when driving on snow or ice because your tires may lose contact with the road and you will lose control of your vehicle.
26 . When turning left at an intersection:
When turning left at an intersection, yield the right-of-way to oncoming traffic and pedestrians. Once the intersection is clear and applicable signals allow, you may complete the turn.
27 . You should not make sudden stops in front of large trucks and buses because:
Large vehicles require longer distances to stop and accelerate than smaller vehicles do. Making a sudden stop in front of a large vehicle is dangerous because the other driver may not be able to stop in time to avoid a collision.
