Passing is prohibited:

A solid yellow centerline next to your lane means that passing is not allowed from your lane. You must stop for a school bus that is stopped to load or unload passengers, and remain stopped until the bus moves again. You may not pass on the right if you must drive off the pavement or main portion of the roadway to get around the other vehicle.
