The Nevada DMV practise examinations have been updated for January 2025. It includes questions based on the Nevada Driver Handbook's most significant traffic signals and legislation for 2025. Use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam to study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
On the practise exam, each question gets a tip and explanation to help you remember the concepts. The written component of the official Nevada DMV test will include questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as knowledge from the Driver Handbook.

Never leave a child under the age of eight unsupervised in a vehicle if conditions present a significant risk to the health and safety of the child. The child must be supervised by and within the sight of a person at least 12 years old.

This sign marks a high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane. HOV lanes are reserved for use by buses and vehicles with a driver and one or more passengers, as indicated on the sign.
5 . When parking your vehicle downhill on a two-way street:
When you park on a downward-facing slope, turn your wheels sharply toward the side of the road. This way, if your vehicle starts to roll downhill, it will roll away from traffic.
6 . Work zone signs mean:
Work zone signs are orange and indicate that some type of work is being performed on or alongside the roadway. Be extremely careful when you see these signs.
