The Nevada DMV practise include questions based on the Nevada Driver Handbook's most significant traffic signals and legislation. Use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam to study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
On the practise exam, each question gets a tip and explanation to help you remember the concepts. The written component of the official Nevada DMV test will include questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as knowledge from the Driver Handbook.
To obtain a passing grade, you must correctly answer 40 of the 50 questions. To help you prepare for your instruction permit or driver's licence, take our Nevada DMV practise test.
The DMV exam is available in several languages.
Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.
9 . When driving in fog, you should use your high beam headlights.
You should use your low beam headlights when driving in fog. High beams will reflect back at the driver and lower visibility.
10 . When two vehicles enter an intersection from different highways at the same time, which vehicle must yield the right-of-way?
At intersections that are controlled by signs or signals and at intersections that are uncontrolled, the driver on the left must yield the right-of-way to the driver on the right when two vehicles arrive to the intersection at the same time.
11 . When making an emergency roadside stop, you should:
When making an emergency roadside stop, you should first signal and pull over. Get as far off the road as safely possible before shifting the transmission to the parking gear and setting the parking brake. Activate the emergency flashers, turn off the engine, and remove the keys. Check traffic before getting out of the vehicle.
12 . At intersections with a "Yield" sign, you must:
At a yield sign, you must slow down or stop, if necessary, and give the right-of-way to crossing or merging vehicles. Yield the right-of-way to any cross traffic that is close enough to cause conflict.
13 . When double solid yellow lines separate lanes of traffic:
Yellow lines separating lanes of traffic indicate that traffic is moving in opposite directions. Double solid lines indicate that passing is not permitted from either direction.
14 . You are approaching an intersection at the posted speed limit when the signal turns yellow. You should:
A solid yellow light means "caution" and signals that the light will soon turn red. You should stop at a solid yellow light if you can do so safely; otherwise, you should cautiously cross the intersection.
15 . You may cross solid yellow lines:
As a general rule, broken traffic lines may be crossed but solid lines may not. Solid yellow lines may be crossed only when the driver is making a turn.
16 . Adjust your rearview and side mirrors:
Your safety and the safety of other drivers and pedestrians depends a lot on what you do before driving. Before moving your vehicle, you should adjust your seat, adjust your mirrors, fasten your safety belt, and secure items in and on your vehicle. Do not wait until your vehicle is moving to adjust your mirrors.
