To be street-legal in Michigan, a motorcycle must have one or two head lamps; amber marker lamps or reflectors in the front; red marker lamps or reflectors at the back; not more than one white or amber spot lamp; not more than two fog lamps; and one rear stop lamp. Side, fender, running, courtesy, or backing lights/reflectors must be white, red, or amber, depending on where they are located.
