When approaching a stopped school bus that is using its flashing lights and stop arm, a rider should:

Do not pass a school bus that is stopped and using its flashing red lights unless there is a physical barrier or separate roadway between your motorcycle and the bus. If you are traveling in either direction on the same roadway as the stopped bus, you should come to a complete stop. Remain stopped until the stop signal is retracted and the flashing lights are turned off.
