FREE Georgia DMV Motorcycle Practice Test 2024
The Georgia Motorcycle Endorsement Practice Exam is now free. This test has 20 multiple-choice questions that will assess your understanding of Georgia road rules and motorcycle riding. All of the answers are from the Georgia Motorcycle Operator Manual. To get the best scores on this test, read and study the Motorcycle Operator Manual thoroughly before answering these questions. Each test question is a four-choice multiple-choice question. There is just one correct response, therefore choose the most appropriate one. When in doubt, read the question's clue to help you choose the proper answer. While the suggestions are helpful on this exam, there are none on the state exam. If the answer you chose is correct, you will immediately go on to the next question. If you select the incorrect option, the right answer will be displayed along with an explanation. To pass this test, you must correctly answer 15 out of the 20 questions. Keep in mind that passing this exam does not guarantee that you will pass the state exam.
1 . When turning, you should:
When turning, look through the turn to where you want to go. Turn only your head, not your shoulders, and keep your eyes level with the horizon. Turning your shoulders may cause you to steer off course.
2 . The center portion of a lane contains an oily strip. This strip:
While the center strip of the road can be oily, it usually provides enough traction for safe riding, unless it is raining. The oily strip is usually no more than two feet wide, so motorcyclists can generally ride on either side of the strip and still be in the center portion of the lane.
3 . What does a lane use control signal displaying a green arrow indicate?
Lane use control signals are used when the direction of the flow of traffic in a specific lane changes throughout the day. They are used to show which lanes of traffic are open and closed, as well as to show if toll booths are open or closed. When a lane control signal contains a green arrow, riders may ride normally in the indicated lane.
4 . When upshifting, the first thing you should do is:
When upshifting, you should first roll off the throttle as you squeeze the clutch lever. Next, lift the shift lever firmly as far as it will go. Smoothly ease out the clutch and roll on the throttle as you complete the gear shift.
5 . A plastic, shatter-resistant face shield:
A plastic, shatter-resistant face shield provides protection for your entire face. A windshield is not an adequate substitute for a good face shield.
