To be street-legal in Michigan, a motorcycle must have a valid license plate, one or two headlamps, clearance/marker lamps and reflectors, a spot lamp, a fog lamp, a rear spot lamp, brakes, a horn, a muffler, an outside rearview mirror, and good tires. All equipment should be in working order.
