FREE Oregon DMV Practical Test Page 2 of 5
The practise exams for the Oregon DMV include questions based on the most important traffic signals and regulations from the Oregon Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
Residents must have an Oregon driver's licence or learner's permit to operate a motor vehicle on any Oregon street or highway. Your eyesight will be tested by the DMV to ensure that you can see clearly enough to drive safely. The Oregon DMV written test will include questions about Oregon road rules, traffic laws, road signs, and safe driving practises, all of which will be based on the contents of the Oregon Driver's Manual. You must wait at least one day after failing your OR DMV knowledge test before taking it again.
There are 35 questions on the test, and you must get at least 28 accurate answers to pass (80 %). To prepare for the official Oregon DMV driver's licence test, practise with this sample DMV test and study the manual.
Using any form of testing help will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take further action against your driver's licence, so avoid it.

9 . You are driving along a street and hear a siren. You cannot immediately see the emergency vehicle. You should:
If you hear a siren or an air horn close by but do not know exactly where the emergency vehicle is, safely pull over to the right side of the road and stop until you are sure it is not headed toward you.

Decrease your speed as you approach an intersection with a yield sign. Prepare to stop and yield the right-of-way to vehicles and pedestrians in the intersection or crossroad. You must come to a full stop at a yield sign if traffic conditions require it.

This sign indicates that there is a traffic signal ahead.
12 . To safely pass a bicycle, you should:
When passing a bicyclist, slow down and give them as much space as you can. Bicyclists have much less protection than drivers of motor vehicles and they should not be crowded. Passing a bicycle too quickly can shift the bicyclist off-course.
