Under the Junior Operator Law, operators under the age of 18 may not:
A restricted license, called a Junior Operator's License, is granted to qualified license applicants under the age of 18. To receive this restricted license, applicants must successfully complete both a driver's education course and a rider's education course, maintain a clean driving record for six consecutive months, and hold a learner's permit for six consecutive months. Operators under the age of 18 may not ride between the hours of 12:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
