FREE Wisconsin DMV Practice Test #6 Page 3 of 7
The Wisconsin DMV practise examinations have been updated for January 2024. It includes questions based on the Wisconsin Driver Handbook's most significant traffic signals and legislation for 2024. Use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam to study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
On the practise exam, each question gets a tip and explanation to help you remember the concepts. The written component of the official Wisconsin DMV test will include questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as knowledge from the Driver Handbook.
To obtain a passing grade, you must correctly answer 40 of the 50 questions. Use the practise exam provided by the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles to help you prepare for your instruction permit or driver's licence.
The DMV exam is available in several languages.
Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.

Your tires become less effective at clearing water from the road as you increase your speed. If you drive too fast, they may lose their grip entirely, leaving the vehicle sliding on a film of water. This is known as "hydroplaning."
18 . You may legally block an intersection:
Even if the light is green, you may not enter an intersection unless you can get completely across before the light turns red. If you block the intersection, you can be cited.
19 . When entering an interstate highway, you should:
Rather than stopping (as you would when entering other roads), you must use the merging or acceleration lane to speed up and smoothly merge with fast-moving traffic already on the interstate.
20 . On a road with two lanes traveling in the same direction, you should drive in the:
On a road with two or more lanes traveling in the same direction, stay in the right lane, except to pass. On a road with three or more lanes traveling in the same direction, stay as far to the right as is practical.
21 . How far down the road should you look when driving?
You should stay aware of conditions on the road ahead in order to avoid the need for any last-second maneuvers. Looking 10 to 15 seconds ahead of your vehicle is a good habit.
