FREE Wisconsin DMV Practice Test #15
The Wisconsin DMV practise examinations have been updated for January 2024. It includes questions based on the Wisconsin Driver Handbook's most significant traffic signals and legislation for 2024. Use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam to study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
On the practise exam, each question gets a tip and explanation to help you remember the concepts. The written component of the official Wisconsin DMV test will include questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as knowledge from the Driver Handbook.
To obtain a passing grade, you must correctly answer 40 of the 50 questions. Use the practise exam provided by the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles to help you prepare for your instruction permit or driver's licence.
The DMV exam is available in several languages.
Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.

4 . You may drive around or under a gate that is being lowered or raised at a railroad crossing:
Flashing red lights, lowered crossing gates, and/or bells at a railroad crossing mean that you must come to a complete stop. You must not go across the tracks until the lights and bells have stopped and the crossing gates are completely up. Do not drive around or under a gate that is moving up or down.
5 . If you must park your vehicle in an area not usually used for parking:
Drivers are responsible for making sure their vehicles do not become hazards after they have been parked. Wherever you park, make sure your car is visible to drivers approaching from any direction.
6 . Hydroplaning occurs when tires ride on a thin film of water instead of on the surface of the road. To prevent hydroplaning in rainy weather, you should:
In rainy weather, you should lower your speed to reduce the risk of hydroplaning. Driving too fast may cause your tires to ride up on the water and lose contact with the surface of the road, making it very difficult to control your vehicle.
7 . What is the minimum number of driving hours an applicant under age 18 must complete before applying for a probationary license?
To obtain a probationary license, an applicant under the age of 18 must have accumulated 30 hours of behind-the-wheel driving experience. 10 of those hours must have been completed at night.
