FREE Oklahoma DMV Practice Test #23 Page 2 of 3
Oklahoma's DMV practise examinations have been updated for January 2024. It includes questions based on the Oklahoma Driver Handbook's most significant traffic signals and legislation for 2024. Use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam to study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
On the practise exam, each question gets a tip and explanation to help you remember the concepts. The written component of the official Oklahoma DMV test will include questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as knowledge from the Driver Handbook.
To obtain a passing grade, you must correctly answer 15 of the 20 questions. Take this practise test from the Oklahoma Department of Motor Vehicles to help you prepare for your instruction permit or driver's licence.
The DMV exam is available in several languages.
Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.

Holding a driver license is not a right. It is a privilege that must be earned and maintained.
10 . What does this road sign mean?
An octagonal sign always means stop. When approaching a stop sign, you must come to a complete stop at the marked stop line and proceed only when it is safe to do so. If there is no stop line, stop before the crosswalk. If there is no crosswalk, stop before the intersection at a point from which you can see any oncoming traffic.
11 . This sign is a:
Warning signs are usually diamond-shaped and yellow with black lettering or symbols. They warn drivers about special situations or potential hazards ahead.
12 . This sign indicates that:
Warning signs are usually yellow with black markings. This sign warns drivers about an upcoming steep hill. Drivers should slow down and be ready to control their speed and protect their brakes from damage.
13 . When stopping on snow or ice, drivers who are operating vehicles equipped with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) should:
When driving a vehicle equipped with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), a driver should press the brake pedal firmly when stopping on a snowy or icy surface. The ABS will pump the brakes more rapidly than a driver would be able to.
14 . In which of the following scenarios should your wheels not be pointed straight ahead?
While waiting to turn left, keep your wheels pointed straight ahead until it is safe to start your turn. If a vehicle hits you from behind, this will prevent you from veering into oncoming traffic. When parked facing either uphill or downhill, turn the wheels so the vehicle will not roll into traffic if the brakes fail.
