FREE Oklahoma DMV Practice Test #18 Page 2 of 3
Oklahoma's DMV practise examinations have been updated for January 2025. It includes questions based on the Oklahoma Driver Handbook's most significant traffic signals and legislation for 2025. Use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam to study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
On the practise exam, each question gets a tip and explanation to help you remember the concepts. The written component of the official Oklahoma DMV test will include questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as knowledge from the Driver Handbook.
To obtain a passing grade, you must correctly answer 15 of the 20 questions. Take this practise test from the Oklahoma Department of Motor Vehicles to help you prepare for your instruction permit or driver's licence.
The DMV exam is available in several languages.
Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.
8 . When approaching a railroad crossing that has no warning signals (such as electric flashing lights or gates), a driver should slow down, look, and listen.
If a railroad crossing has no warning devices or only a crossbuck sign, you should slow down, look in both directions of the track, and listen for a train or railroad equipment. Only proceed with caution across the tracks when it is safe to do so.
9 . Nighttime is the safest time for cyclists to ride their bikes.
A bicycle is difficult to see in the dark, even when the cyclist is wearing a proper headlight and reflector. Both motorists and bicyclists should be especially alert when driving at night in order to prevent dangerous collisions.
10 . While driving, your wheels slip off the edge of the road. You should:
If your vehicle begins to leave the road, continue to drive with the wheels off the pavement and reduce your speed by gently applying the brakes. When at a safe speed, turn the steering wheel to return to the pavement. Do not attempt to force your vehicle back onto the pavement by sharply turning the steering wheel.
11 . This sign shows one type of:

This sign indicates that a T intersection is ahead.
12 . While driving, you come upon a sign displaying the words “Reduced speed, 35 mph." This means:
"Reduced speed" signs inform drivers that they must reduce their speeds. If a new speed limit is posted on one of these signs, the new speed limit begins at the sign.
13 . If there is no crosswalk and you see a pedestrian crossing your lane, you should:
Drivers must always yield the right-of-way to pedestrians in the roadway, even if there is not a marked crosswalk.
14 . It is very foggy. You should slow down and:
Use your low beams when driving in fog, snow, rain, or mist. Light from high beams will reflect off of precipitation, causing a glare and making it even more difficult to see. Some vehicles are equipped with fog lights that should be used in addition to low beam headlights.
