FREE Hawaii DMV Practice Test | Driving License Permit test Hawaii 2024 #15 Page 4 of 5
This set of practise tests for the Hawaii DMV has been updated for January 2024. It includes questions based on the most important traffic signs and legislation for 2024 from the Hawaii Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
Each question on the practise exam has a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as information from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official DMV test.
You must properly answer 24 of the 30 questions to receive a passing mark. To help you prepare for your Hawaii instruction permit or driver's licence, take our DMV practise test.
The DMV exam is offered in a variety of languages.
Using any form of testing help will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take further action against your driver's licence, so avoid it.

The vehicle on the right has the right-of-way when two vehicles arrive to an uncontrolled intersection at the same time. When the first driver has safely passed through the intersection, the other driver may proceed.
22 . You may avoid the risks of alcohol-related crashes by:
The only way to avoid the risks of drinking and driving is to decide before you start drinking that you are not going to drive. Because alcohol affects your judgement, it will be harder for you to make safe decisions after you have started drinking.
23 . An approaching driver fails to dim their high beam headlights. Where should you look?
If an approaching driver fails to dim their high beams, glance toward the right side of the road. This will keep you from being blinded by the other vehicle’s headlights and will allow you to see enough of the road to stay on course until the other vehicle has passed.
