FREE Hawaii DMV Practice Test | Driving License Permit test Hawaii 2024 #11 Page 4 of 5
This set of practise tests for the Hawaii DMV has been updated for January 2024. It includes questions based on the most important traffic signs and legislation for 2024 from the Hawaii Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
Each question on the practise exam has a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as information from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official DMV test.
You must properly answer 24 of the 30 questions to receive a passing mark. To help you prepare for your Hawaii instruction permit or driver's licence, take our DMV practise test.
The DMV exam is offered in a variety of languages.
Using any form of testing help will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take further action against your driver's licence, so avoid it.
19 . You are involved in an accident and your vehicle is blocking traffic. You should:
After a minor collision, move your vehicle off the traveled portion of the roadway, if possible. Do not leave the scene of an accident without identifying yourself and rendering assistance.
20 . This sign means:
Regulation signs regulate traffic speed and movement, displaying rules which drivers must obey. This regulation sign means that right turns are prohibited.
21 . While driving, your wheels slip off the edge of the road. You should:
If your vehicle begins to leave the road, continue to drive with the wheels off the pavement and reduce your speed by gently applying the brakes. When at a safe speed, turn the steering wheel to return to the pavement. Do not attempt to force your vehicle back onto the pavement by sharply turning the steering wheel.
22 . A speed limit sign is posted on a freeway exit ramp. You should:
When exiting the freeway, maintain your speed until you are completely into the exit ramp, then slow down smoothly. Treat a posted speed limit sign on a freeway exit ramp as you would any other speed limit sign.
23 . All headlights on your vehicle must work properly and be correctly adjusted:
Your vehicle's headlights are critical to safely driving during the night, in rainy weather, in fog, and through tunnels. They must work properly and be correctly adjusted at all times.
24 . If you are turning onto a street with more than one lane traveling in your direction, you should:
When turning onto a street with more than one lane moving in the direction that you are traveling, turn into the lane that is closest to your previous lane. Do not change lanes when turning.
