FREE Florida DMV Practice Test #18 Page 2 of 7
This set of DMV practise tests for the Florida has been updated for January 2024. It includes questions based on the most important traffic signs and laws for 2024 from the Florida Driver Handbook. To study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam, use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
Each question on the practise exam has a tip and explanation to help you recall the ideas. Questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as information from the Driver Handbook, will be included in the written portion of the official DMV test.
You must properly answer 40 of the 50 questions to receive the required passing mark. To help you prepare for your Florida instruction permit or driver's licence, take our DMV practise test.
The DMV exam is offered in a variety of languages.
Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.

The Three Crashes in Three Years Law requires drivers who have been convicted of three traffic incidents that have caused accidents over the course of 36 months to enroll in and complete an approved driver improvement course. The requirements must be met within 90 days or the driver's license will be canceled.
11 . When a vehicle with an Anti-Lock Braking System starts to lose traction on a slippery road, drivers should:
If their vehicle loses traction on a slippery road, a driver with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) needs to press down hard on the brake pedal, hold it, and steer out of danger. In an emergency situation, the ABS automatically pumps the brakes at a faster rate than the driver could. Removing steady pressure from the brake pedal or pumping the brakes will disengage the ABS.

When approaching a railroad crossing, you must stop your vehicle no closer than 15 feet from the nearest rail if an installed electric or mechanical signal is giving warning of an approaching train.
