FREE Louisiana DMV Practice Test #23 Page 5 of 5
Louisiana's DMV practise tests have been revised for January 2024. It includes questions based on the Louisiana Driver Handbook's most significant traffic signals and legislation for 2024. Use actual questions that are very similar (often identical!) to the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam to study for the DMV driving permit test and driver's licence exam.
On the practise exam, each question gets a tip and explanation to help you remember the concepts. The written component of the official Louisiana DMV test will include questions about traffic rules, traffic signs, and driving statutes, as well as knowledge from the Driver Handbook.
To obtain a passing grade, you must correctly answer 32 of the 40 questions. Take our DMV practise exam to help you prepare for your Louisiana instruction permit or driver's licence.
The DMV exam is available in several languages.
Using any kind of testing assistance will result in an automatic fail, and the DMV may take additional action against your driver's licence, so stay away from it.

If you must drive in foggy conditions, you should use your low beam headlights, as well as your fog lights, if your vehicle has them. High beams direct their light upwards, where it can bounce off the fog and into your eyes, reducing visibility even more.
37 . A flashing yellow light at an intersection means that you should:
A flashing yellow light at an intersection means "caution." If you approach such a light, slow down, look, and proceed with care.
38 . How can you prevent "Highway hypnosis?"
Boredom is common among motorists on long trips and can lead to what is called “highway hypnosis.” To avoid this, drivers should begin their trip as well-rested as possible. They should regularly stop, even if they don't think they are tired. They should keep their eyes scanning the road to avoid eye fatigue from staring in one place for too long.

A solid line along the side of the road indicates where its edge is, marking the boundary between the travel lane and the shoulder. If the edge line angles toward the center of the road, this means that the road is narrower ahead.
