FREE Virginia DMV Motorcycle Practice Test 2024
Welcome to our free practice exam for the Virginia Motorcycle License. Anyone studying for their Virginia Motorcycle Endorsement should take this practice test, which is supplied free of charge. Read and understand the Virginia Motorcycle Operators Manual before answering the questions on our test. The knowledge in the manual is used to answer all of the questions on this test. Each question on our practice test is multiple-choice, just like the Virginia state exam. There are four possible answers to each question, but only one is correct for each question. Use our hint tool to assist you in answering a difficult question, but keep in mind that hints are not available on the state exam. We'll go on to the next question once you've chosen the correct answer. If you chose the incorrect answer, we'll explain why and which answer was correct. It's a good idea to research the areas where you're having problems. This practice test can be taken as many times as you want. You will pass the test if you correctly answer at least 20 of the 25 questions.
1 . The risk of a head or neck injury is reduced:
A head or neck injury is always a risk when riding a motorcycle, regardless of your speed of travel. With few exceptions, the risk of head and neck injuries is greatly reduced by properly wearing a quality helmet.
2 . You have an improved chance of surviving a crash if you wear:
You will get the most head and neck protection from a helmet that meets U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and state standards. The single most effective thing you can do to improve your chances of surviving a crash is wear a properly secured, good-quality helmet.
3 . When your mirrors are properly adjusted, you should see:
Adjust your mirrors so you can see the lane behind you and as much as possible of the lane next to you. When properly adjusted, a mirror may show the edge of your arm or shoulder, but it’s the road behind you and to the side of you that is most important.
4 . Most motorcycle/automobile accidents occur:
Most collisions between motorcycles and automobiles take place at intersections. The most common cause of these accidents is the automobile operator failing to properly yield the right-of-way to the motorcyclist.
5 . When riding, your feet should be:
Your feet should remain on your footrests while riding to help you maintain proper balance.
